Chuck Swenson

Chuck Swenson was the head coach for the William & Mary Tribe men's basketball team from 1987-1994.[1] He had previously served as an assistant coach to Mike Krzyzewski from 1981–87 at Duke.[2] He later served as an assistant to Tommy Amaker at Michigan.[3] Statistically, Swenson was the second worst coach in W&M men's basketball history. He compiled a 27-71 conference record, 62-134 overall, for a .316 winning percentage.[1] He is second to H. W. Withers, who only coached a five-game season back in 1906-07 while finishing 1-4 (.200 winning percentage).[1]

Swenson graduated in 1972 from Crystal Lake Central High School in Crystal Lake, Illinois. He is the son of basketball coach John Swenson. As a senior in college, Swenson was the team manager for Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball during their undefeated 1976 national championship season.
